Notice the pattern between Biden and Platner, because it is the whole story. In both cases, the primary voters made a choice. In both cases, the party decided, after the fact, that the voters had chosen wrong. And in both cases, the same institution that lectures America about authoritarianism and “threats to democracy” moved heaven and earth to override the expressed will of its own electorate the moment that will became inconvenient. The people who cannot stop saying democracy is on the ballot keep discovering, at the decisive moment, that they trust themselves more than the demos.

Not only will they pretend that they never supported Platner, they’ll demand credit for his being forced to drop out.
And they’ll hold up Platner’s dropping out as an example of what makes their side morally better than the side that didn’t nominate a woman-abusing Nazi.
The absolute inability to treat Erika Kirk as a human being says so very much more about the people doing it than it does about her. It's how you get rationalizations for more murders.
You are the lowest form of pond scum if you say that ICE arrested a 5 year old boy without saying they detained him because his illegal alien father ran from them and left his son behind ALONE. You are shameless and disgusting.
This is what’s amazing to me. Protestors don’t have the right to do this. They don’t have the right to block traffic or impede law enforcement or “get in people’s faces” or be aggressive in any way. They don’t. No matter what some idiot on social media tells you. They have the right to peaceably assemble. That’s it.
