@KnightShiftDev Ooh that's a good one! I would say Soul Survivor's respawn mechanic is the most complex thing I've done so far. Second place would probably be the game's meta-progression system. Tons of moving parts with both!
@SgtM_Yuusha There are several MZ titles on the horizon that I'd consider notable such as Trials of Cascadia. If we're looking at finished games exclusively, Absynthia definitely comes to mind as mentioned earlier. I don't know if it's "notable" or not but my released game was also in MZ.
@zKassaiAudio Action economy is a term I use in the FTB system tutorial as well! And yes, I've got a lot of TTRPG experience in various game systems. One of these days I may start working on a tabletop game again, but that's a topic for much further down the line 😀
@zKassaiAudio Thanks for the question!
I'd cite Lufia 2, Zelda 1, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, and Zelda: LttP as the main references for map skill designs.
The Silver Daze Demo will release to the public on August 10th! Be sure to wishlist the game now so you can be there as soon as it drops!
