More game developers are backing Steam’s AI disclosure policy, saying players deserve to know when generative AI has been used in a game.
In interviews with GamesRadar, many indie developers said Valve’s requirement to disclose AI-generated content is the right move because it gives players transparency and helps them make informed decisions.
Erenshor creator Brian “Burgee” said, “Gamers have a right to know how their games are made, and a right to choose what they’re supporting.”
Back in 1932, Australia went to war against the most unusual enemy. It wasn't another country or an invading army. It was a flock of 20,000 emus! Pocketpair’s communications lead John “Bucky” Buckley jokingly asked fans which of Palworld’s new Pals should get a skin, making it clear there was “absolutely no promise” it would ever happen.
“Theoretically, hypothetically, conceptually, and spiritually… if, with absolutely no promise of it being realized or coming to fruition ever… IF… any of the new Pals in 1.0 were to get a skin, which would it be and what would the skin be?”
The replies were flooded with one request: “Sekhmet maid skin.”
