#1: The US government borrows from itself.

For example:

Social Security collects your payroll taxes.

Instead of saving that money, the government borrows it and gives Social Security trillions in bonds.

#2: The Federal Reserve buys the debt.

America's central bank owns $6 trillion in government bonds—purchased by expanding the money supply.

The government borrows, and the Fed funds it.

#3: Your savings fund the debt.

Your 401k, pension, bank deposits, and insurance policies?

They typically hold government bonds as 'safe' assets—often 20-40% of the portfolio depending on allocation.

#4: Foreign countries complete the circle.

Japan and China earn dollars by selling us products, then lend those same dollars back by buying US Treasury bonds.

It's a self-reinforcing cycle:

Governments borrow from their central banks, their citizens' savings, and from other countries' dollar reserves

This system evolved over decades, from the Nixon shock in 1971 to quantitative easing after 2008.

Whether by design or accident, it's now the foundation of modern finance.

The critical question is whether it's sustainable—and the data suggests we're approaching a breaking point

Another day in Canada where the government bends over backwards to protect its public image while a CHILD is left wondering why the adults in charge can’t do their jobs. Stunning leadership. Really inspires confidence.

We’re not talking about a “complicated case” or a “sensitive file.”
We’re talking about a grown adult who committed one of the most serious crimes imaginable — TWICE — against a 13-year-old.
And apparently the big concern was… PR damage???
Because nothing says “responsible governance” like prioritizing optics over a child’s safety.

Canada has clear laws, clear standards, and clear consequences for crimes against minors. Yet somehow, somewhere, someone decided “Let’s just… not.”

How does that even happen?
How do you read a case like this and think, “Hmm yes, the real issue here is not deporting him”?

FCK NO!!

The real issue is protecting kids — immediately, decisively, and without bureaucratic hand-wringing.

This isn’t complicated:
If someone is a documented threat to children, they should be dealt with through the FULL FORCE of the law — PERIOD!
Not hidden in a file.
Not quietly shuffled around.
Not treated like a PR inconvenience.

Do your job!
Protect children!!
Apply the laws you already have.
And stop acting like accountability is FCKN optional!
