The conservative solution will not be unveiled until after an election. It will be the gutting of rent controls and restrictions which they view as market stifling and throwing away the ALR. Rents in older properties will explode tract housing will once again be possible.

@eresc79 I am unsure of the significance of your data points. For a very significant percentage of home purchasers the price is a combination of down payment plus mortgage payments and stress level ceilings. When all of that is combined it results in a home price that is out of reach.
