Provo, Utah seventh grader Angelina Alder had quite the world record-breaking performance on Sunday in Renton, Washington at the Brooks PR Invitational.
The 13-year-old won the Middle School Mile in 4:38.25, setting a personal record by over two seconds and lowering her own age-group world record in the event. Alder even ran faster than all the high school competitors, as her time wound up being the quickest of the day across three mile races.
