From a novice runner to a YouTube creator is not the journey that most of us think will happen but it did happen to Tim Stent.
Find out about the MARMy Army in this episode of @RunningTalesPod with Craig Lewis.

Yesterday’s chat with Dharmesh Mistry was a cracker.
We spoke about going from overweight and unfit to 100-mile ultra regular and MDS finisher.
Dharm talked about how running has brought him mental clarity, found him running friends, and brought him the nickname Kermit! 🐸
On @RunningTalesPod with @Craig_Lewis77, this episode features Tarne Wescott who has failed and succeeded at ultra distances but giving up has not been a part of the discussion.

“My younger self would probably say, dude, you need help.”
Tarne Westcott has run in a lot of ultra marathons - but things weren’t always that way.

@grc207@RunTriMag@evrydyathpdcst@adharanand I didn’t read it that the author was encouraging using running alone for weight loss, just says that clients come to her with that aim.
Notable that she is a sports dietitian, so presumably she would not be recommending purely running.
@grc207@RunTriMag@evrydyathpdcst@adharanand Best to listen to the episode:

It was a small part of a wide-ranging chat, sorry if my tweet was out of context.
What I would say is she wasn’t saying it as part of a conversation on weight loss but about her body’s reaction to the run & her recovery.
The @evrydyathpdcst network continues to add episodes featuring everyday athletes and their inspiring stories.
