KOAT Action 7 News Reporter. When you work with the very best. Proud to be here with amazing news managers, resources, and talented journalists @hearst
Was in SKY 7 yesterday our KOAT news helicopter flying over Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe once owned by Jeffrey Epstein. Lawmakers have set up a “truth commission” to find out what happened there. Was there sex trafficking there and other criminal activity? Stay tuned
Many friends I’ve worked with over the years that are currently working at Nexstar and TEGNA stations are bracing for the worst. The deal also calls for some stations to close. More layoffs are coming.
The Mayor and his press aides ignored my calls and emails for 2 months asking for an interview . So Thursday me and my photographer had to run to try and question him. Here’s a portion of it. Grateful to be working for @Hearst
All of us in the news business have covered these stories and always very difficult. Last night a BCSO Sargent was killed in the line of duty. Very little information released for the late night live shot. Always a difficult story to do.
I watched this live in 1988. Democratic National Convention. I was a kid with a dream to become a TV news reporter. He wasn’t a Kennedy but a black man who rose up from poverty. I was inspired and awed. RIP Jesse Jackson
Lawmakers calling for compensation: A House Joint Resolution passed the New Mexico State House that could pay lawmakers an annual salary. Reporter John Rupolo has reaction from both sides. Comment below.
So thankful to be with @koat7news and this great company @Hearst . When you have seen the best and the worst in TV newsrooms then you work for the VERY best company. You butt shoulders with such excellence and hard working journalists. It’s winning.
