Who actually listens to this chick anymore? She basically hoodwinked her whole audience into the belief that no woman needs a man, then get’s married in essentially secret. Then drops this advice….she isnt empowering women, she’s building an extremely robust network of man hating annuity streams

I had a great conversation about the APA and Woke 2.0 with @HideYourKids0 who is currently number one on the Reality Therapy leader board for guests with the most appearances and archrival of @SystemicTexism
Look for that episode coming soon...
Hard take:
Whenever someone leads with “I identify as” in a conversation, it is normally milliseconds later that they adequately articulate absolute incompetence in whatever segment of reality they just claimed influence.
You File, You Die. Still Want the Divorce?
In this episode we’re joined by Jake (@Careerflex), the Marine Corps major turned licensed marriage and family therapist, organizational consultant, general contractor, and private investigator who calls himself the People’s Therapist.
Jake walks through his own post-Afghanistan experience of being told by multiple therapists that his PTSD symptoms meant he might be transgender or simply needed more childhood hugs - until a former Marine finally told him the truth: “You’re fucked up.”
From there he explains why the therapy industry so often fails combat vets and ordinary couples alike, and why he built a practice that treats masculine frame, containment, and long-suffering as non-negotiable.
We get into the hard years of marriage (year 3, 7, and 10), the “gun to your head / sniper’s bullet” thought experiment that forces people to actually solve problems instead of quitting, and why the modern dating market is full of werewolves once you leave the imperfect person you’re already with.
Jake breaks down containment as the stone wall that turns the feminine “jungle” into a sacred garden, why women shit-test (often subconsciously), and why matching energy on contempt can wake a wife up faster than years of gentle requests.
He also covers the difference between healthy polarity and spiritually gay Marxism, why high partner counts and tattoos are imperfect signals rather than automatic disqualifiers, the real limits of pair-bonding research, and why polyamory is usually either catastrophic or reserved for people who already run a high-functioning marriage.
Practical takeaways include focusing first on the man’s fortitude (no vulnerability without it), teaching women to accept competent solutions instead of perpetual distress-vocalizing, the role of hormones and sexual competence, and the final reminder that the internet’s FOID fears and red-pill scripts should never be projected onto the actual woman in front of you.
Love the one you’re with - or at least run the calculus as if walking out of the courthouse meant lead poisoning.
If this conversation hits home, do us a favor and like + share it. These discussions matter for building easy marriages.
And if you’re not already following @Careerflex, make sure you give him a follow too.

Sex is the one thing a husband and wife share with no one else.
Treat it like the center of the marriage, because it is.
When it fades, everything else in the marriage starts to drift with it.
Wokeness is not a “perspective” among others competing in the marketplace of ideas.
It is a torch to the marketplace itself.
Not grasping this is one of the most serious vulnerabilities of well-meaning academics and professionals trying to address problems in their fields.
It may be that trying to articulate this by text without inflection may be whats hanging us up here.
Its not an either/or, in the context that you framed there is nothing wrong with a man wanting to pursue his wife. There can be an assumption that there is love and emotional intimacy that leads to physical intimacy in a committed relationship. Spouses should pine after each other.
But if you culled your whole dating world based on not being able to see if a prospective spouse has big boobs or a fat ass, or if their future husband had a six pack, or the body of Thor, then we arent talking about the same thing.
She wants what she wants and she has every right to that, but she supposedly is Christian who has surrendered to the Lord’s will and it doesnt seem like she is allowing for much room for God to work unless God’s will matches HER OWN.
@Ngamini2004@abbythelibb_ No, not in the context of physical attraction. The problem is sometimes people are not focused on attraction as having a desire to be with someone as much as the desire of what they want to do with/to them.
