@David__Osland I remember that too. My parents also remembered a time that if you posted a first-class letter for a local delivery before the first collection it would be delivered later the same day.
@ColinSpenc4257 All 15, but we never had a metre that needed to be fed. You forgot the rag and bone man coming around with his horse and cart and non- disposable nappies.
@karenfthompson I remember, but absolutely hated the taste of instant mashed potato - still do. Iโve been ruined by my own mashed potatoes - nothing else will do.
@Christo03770888 Itโs a ticket machine used by conductors on Londonโs Routemaster and RT double-decker buses until the very late 1970s and maybe even early 1980s. I remember them well and the sound they made, not to mention the sound of the RT engines and the purr at idle.
@MandyLSimard Hideous piece of garbage. If a pedestrian gets hit by one of those, even at low speed, theyโre dead. Itโs a grotesque monument to that disgusting human being that runs the company that makes them.
@jasonrowphoto Beachy Head lighthouse, but only a small part of the frame. It was the two herring gulls, the chalk cliffs and the distant sail boat that made it for me.
