It’s headcanony but it makes sense to me that an outbreak starting in modern times would have a more advanced virus.

@Visuljkoo @DarkSideT_ I agree. But other than the puzzles being easier/slightly handholdy(which is way more of a modern gaming problem than a remedy one) I don’t really think anything sticks out as awful gameplay wise.

@imnotwhoyuothnk I hope the combat is robust. Remedy has always had a problem with gameplay variety. Their combat is serviceable, but almost never the focus

I hope that changes with this. And when we're closer to Max remakes reveal, I'll write a long thread of what I think

@Visuljkoo @DarkSideT_ Literally it is not. Some of the most famous survival horror games of all time have intentionally clunky and frustrating or sometimes even non existent combat because it makes the player feel weaker which amplifies the horror elements.
