You know, even though I post big fat anime tiddies from time to time, I don’t consider myself a weeb. I just have a fascination with good art and Japanese culture. Much in the same way I’m fascinated by English, Scottish and Irish culture. Or ancient Egypt. Anyways...tiddies!!!
We remember how the "capitalism bad" crowd defended social media companies censoring the people they don't like on the grounds that "they're private companies, so they can do what they want". Is banning people from the public square which has been monopolized by these companies not "social murder"? Or is "social murder" just another one of those terms leftists made up with a fluid definition that changes based on whatever suits them in the moment?

They don’t want to kill you because they think you’re a Nazi, they call you a Nazi because they want to kill you.
One of the most disgusting things about the left-wing reaction to his death was that they pretty much instantly began to dig up all of the worst clips they could find of a guy who’s career literally started when he was like 17. None of what they pulled up were common things he said often, it was also a the most uncharitable and deceptive type of smear, to try and convince people he deserved it.
This is a very interesting point because in the Iliad and Odyssey, we don't see any guilt or grief on the part of those sacking cities.
After sacking Troy, Odysseus sails off to Thrace and tells us how he sacked Ismarus. His description is cold and abrupt:
“From Ilios the wind bore me and brought me to the Cicones, to Ismarus. There I sacked the city and slew the men; and from the city we took their wives and great store of treasure, and divided them among us, that so far as lay in me no man might go defrauded of an equal share.”
The tragedy here is the Ciciones rallied men and drove Odysseus's force off, killing many. This is a pattern repeated throughout Homer: the moral consideration is for the warband and not the victims of the warband. "Sacker of cities" is an epithet given to great heroes like Achilles and Odysseus; it is a point of pride, as is taking great booty and women.
Odysseus feels no regret at sacking Troy or anywhere else, he only laments the hardships he and his men personally suffer. His morality is confined to his warband and his family and property. Ultimately, it revolves around his own wellbeing.
We're given no reason to think Odysseus has PTSD from sacking cities, indeed he seems to enjoy it.
A Muslim asks a Christian about the Crusades in the Middle Ages.
“Before the Crusades, Islam had already invaded the Christian lands of Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Turkey. And was trying to conquer Europe.”
Another Muslim asks about the European slave trade.
“The Islamic slave trade had existed for centuries before the European slave trade, from both Africa and Europe. And it never really ended.
Your own prophet Muhammad was a slave trader.”
"We should roll back some of these regulations to remove some of the dead, highly flammable timber"
"NO YOU WILL DESTROY THE ENVIRONMENT!!!"
