Year 2 had an exciting science lesson! They ventured into forest school to identify mini-beasts and their micro-habitats. They then presented the data on a pictogram, linking to their current Computing topic.

Year 2 have had fantastic maths lessons. They looked at lines of symmetry in 2-D shapes and created symmetrical patterns! It was lovely to see the children so passionate about their learning -"this was the best maths lesson!" @LionAcTrust @AaronLionLearn #lovelearning

In Science this week, the children were learning about the meaning of living and non-living things, identifying things which belong to these groups and explaining why they belong. We had some fantastic debates and discussions! @AaronLionLearn @LionAcTrust #lovelearning

To celebrate the end to our Year 2 science unit – Animals including Humans, the children went to 'bootcamp' and explored how exercise makes us feel.

Yesterday many of our children took part in a sponsored bounce, raising money for life jackets and water safety signage at the Embankment. An amazing £1030 was raised! Well done to all who took part! @AaronLionLearn @LionAcTrust
