@SolaTheAnalyst Plans really haven’t been that much for years. If you do BYOD then you can easily get good plans $25-45. If you need a new phone then yea they get you up in that $60-80 range but that’s because phones are so damn pricey now.
@hostharjitgill We have an empty homes tax here in BC. They should be tacking that on these unsold condos after 12 months completed. Make them find a way to sell the condos for prices people will pay or they can pay a yearly fee like the rest of us. They shouldn’t get to skirt and get bailouts
@AndrewNJohns@vancolour@MarkJCarney Every other company has to manage risk and reward. So they profit massively when it’s good but when it’s not then it’s poor me help me out…… bullocks. When they anticipated speculators to constantly gobble them up at any price to flip higher it was all fine and dandy.
@Nick_Decap Companies struggle and go bankrupt all the time, don’t see the government giving an olive branch to all of them to try and keep them afloat. Why should developers be any different? If they can’t sell at the listed price there’s probably a reason.
@ShaziGoalie@scoopercooper Let these developers sell for par or losses. Don’t need high end condos all the time, there’s no reason these 400sq ft shoeboxes are stupid prices
@Jacobtheclipper My first thought was lob not shot especially with Robinson going up at that exact moment and not waiting for the rebound. I can excuse that non call
@conorsvan1 Hope Doug comes down hard on each of them personally for pulling that stunt after they passed the no resale law. Slap the individuals not the city tax payers
