Hardliners in Iran are furious about the deal. They want revenge. Khamenei’s blood is still fresh, and “now Ghalibaf and Araghchi are signing with the enemy?”
The unity against Israel and the US is what held this regime together. As that fades, and the economic collapse continues, expect the cracks to show.
One Iranian source on the ground told me the hardliner base wants “Ghalibaf and Araghchi’s heads on a stick”
A great deal does not need to be hidden. It would already be public.
If this deal were as strong as Trump claims, the White House would have published the terms immediately and flooded the zone with specifics.
I was part of the Trump 45 comms effort for the January 2020 Israeli-Palestinian peace plan and the Abraham Accords. We had documents, talking points, details, and specific provisions we could cite in the media.
Trump is praising this deal like it’s bigger than the Abraham Accords.
Yet somehow there’s no text, no serious explanation, no clear terms, and no one on TV who can answer basic questions without retreating into cultish nonsense.
That’s not because the White House can’t write a fact sheet.
It’s because the deal is a pig, and they’re still searching for more lipstick.
Dear Sorsby Family,
I can’t imagine what you have been through with your son’s addiction. Addiction hurts the whole family system. I’m glad to see he is getting help and he’s on his road to recovery.
I’m a two time graduate of Texas Tech and I’m an LPC-S that works with people in addiction. I’ve been doing this for 17 years. I’m also a former athlete of Texas Tech. I have a unique perspective on this from my life experiences.
I know my University. I know that athletic department and the character of those men and women that run it. They will stick to your son’s side. They will honor their word of helping him.
And even though a judge granted a temporary injunction that I saw coming a mile away. From the second it was announced I knew this was gonna happen.
What I didn’t know was this insane reaction from the college football world. The ivory tower everyone seems to be in. Watching my University get dragged through the mud. Getting dragged with false information. Our leaders having to defend this even though they didn’t file the lawsuit.
This weekend I hope you as a family huddle up and discuss “is this worth it”. Your son is early on his recovery process. He took the first steps in getting it started. And I really hope he stays on that journey. Finding true sustained remission in addiction can unlock the rest of your life. It’s not easy.
Texas Tech will stick by you. From our burner accounts to the brass in charge. And many of us are in the background quietly saying “man, just declare for the draft. We love you but just declare. This isn’t fair to Tech”
Y’all decide what you wanna do. Just make sure you’re actually doing what’s best for Brendan’s recovery and not just what an injunction says you can do.
@neetu_arnold@instapundit Our education system wildly undervalues math in favor of the humanities, because math is hard, too hard for most American educators.
I'm genuinely sympathetic with younger people and housing prices but when they defend the Doordash-every-day thing that just redirects the entire conversation.
Stop talking about the stupid ballroom.
It doesn't matter how necessary you think it is. It's absolutely awful political messaging to keep obsessing over a plaything for elites (now costing taxpayers over a $1B) while inflation is 4%.
Just build it and shut up about it.
