Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

@ThinkingnChurch@BrooksAustinBA Alabama always plays a tough schedule. Ohio State mostly, although their non-conf over the last 25 years has been pretty spartan. USC during the Carroll era, when they could win 8 straight conference championships or whatever, was a joke. Same with FSU under Bobby
I'm doing a complete 180 on flag football. I thought this was dumb, but I was wrong. This is a good idea. Advances the game. Multiple states have now sanctioned it as a high school varsity sport for girls. Good for a lot of dad's and daughters. Hope to see this advance.
NEWS: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss has been granted a sixth season of eligibility by a state court judge in Mississippi. Chambliss received an injunction today, which paves the way for him to play in 2026 after the NCAA ruled he was eligibility. (The NCAA can appeal.)
