How can an insurance company refuse a claim like this? @churchillinsurance you’ve really dropped the ball. A 97-year-old vulnerable woman, living alone, just had her ceiling collapse, and instead of offering support, you’re saying it’s been “like this for a while”?

Shame on you, @ChurchillInsurance Imagine a 97-year-old woman living alone in her bungalow, her ceiling has collapsed, and the insurance she’s paid into refuses to help.
Apparently, the wind speed "needs to exceed 50 mph "for them to consider paying out!

Charlotte bought a pair of @adidasUK @adidas walking/hiking boots a couple of weeks ago.

The fabric has already started to fail.

Tried to get a replacement pair but the store manager said it was wear & tear.

After 2 weeks???

According to @adidasUK , their walking shoes will only last 2 weeks before they show signs of wear and tear.

Obviously the young manager doesn't know that there are laws to protect the consumer with regard to the faulty products

@PD39dontpanic Excellent question. Although I didn't go to the conference, there certainly doesn't seem like they are any closer to finding out a cure....let alone what causes it.
