Folks, I think we really need to be clear about what happened today.

No, Trump and Vance didn't just go into this meeting with Zelensky as an ambush. Trump sounded very, very nice at the beginning. He hoped Zelensky was ready to sign a good deal.

Zelensky was then grandstanding in front of the media and demanding a U.S. security guarantee for any peace with Russia to happen. Basically, he lied. He got into the Oval and started sounding off.

Trump and Vance were insulted - on behalf of the USA - and acted accordingly.

Zelensky's gone now.

THAT'S what happened. This is how you handle these things. You don't let it slide. Good on Trump and Vance.
