@SkyFootball Football pundit the worlds easiest job, just judge everything in hinsight and pretend you are an expert. If he had taken Palmer bought him on and he had no impact he would be saying what did he expect, he came here with no form, manager can't win with these idiots.
@jillwebb2005 Totally agreed, I would take it further and suggest that the songs released from David W/'A' Bomb to Dreams Of Children right through AMC & SS and all 1979 'B' sides is a run of songs without parallel. Only The Night on The B of a Tubestation is a disappointing song in that spell
@jillwebb2005 Church of the poison mind is a great song, my favourite Culture Club song by a distance, but it can't compete with that amazing cover by The Beat
@WelsbyElton Fewer people are watching anyway, most people I know tune in for the match we have been watching football for longer than most experts and don't actually need any ex pro telling us what we can see for ourselves. BBC will still trounce ITV when it comes to the final they always do
@TheFootyFeed Rose Coloured glasses, were terrible in the first 2 games, I was at the Scotland game and if Seaman hadn't saved the penalty Scotland would have got a deserved draw. Then brilliant v Dutch and totally outplayed by Spain in qtr final, sneaked through on pens. Played well in Semi.
@jillwebb2005 It certainly is an eclectic mix, I like to think I am quite knowledgeable about this era, but plenty in the 7 polls I have had to look up tonight! Eddy in this particular one for me.
@yvonnemac0@SpammyFritter For about 25 years now he has played some Jam songs at his gigs, nearly always Malice and a couple of others and he plays some TSC too. Jam & TSC are about 25% of his recording career 6 or 7 songs in a 30 song set across his career seems about right - There 6 Jam in current set.
@Robbiesmit8@MrTomMcDermott That maybe his primary function(and he is one of the best at it), but players with more than 1 string to their bow is what makes them greats. Either that or you must hate players like Lampard and Gerrard who were exceptional goalscorers, but as midfielders that wasn't their job!
@jillwebb2005 Still have my original 7&12" EPs, and a Japanese import plus what I think is a later release with Your The Best Thing on the other side.
@lee0969@jillwebb2005@nikidoog Love this album, another where I really struggle to pick one and i would probably choose a different one everyday...today its Blockheads but they are all fabulous
@lee0969@jillwebb2005 What a great album still sounds as fresh and vibrant as it did in 1980, without question one of the greatest bands I have ever seen live as well. Picking 1 song is as you say almost impossible, but I have to go for the short but memorable Click Click I just love it...
