South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation claimed that the country has the largest white population “outside the Northern Hemisphere,” repeating a claim previously made by International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola.
Speaking at an African Diaspora Forum in Washington, D.C., on September 18, Lamola said: “We constitute the highest number of white people outside of the Northern Hemisphere.”
Official population figures contradict the claim. South Africa has around 4.5 million white residents, representing roughly 7% of its population.
Brazil’s 2022 census alone recorded more than 88 million people identifying as white, nearly 20 times South Africa’s white population, while the overwhelming majority of Brazil lies in the Southern Hemisphere.
Australia and Argentina also have substantially larger populations of predominantly European ancestry.
After the claim was challenged and mocked by users on X, DIRCO deleted the post.
🇿🇦 Threats of violence against Afrikaners and whites:
South Africa's Minister of International Relations, Ronald Lamola, said...
“I am just giving a warning to white South Africans: They must voluntarily bring back the land… we can no longer be able to guarantee the continued safety of Mr. van Tonder or Mr. van der Merwe…”
“The land question will not be won through romantic acts. We need to an act (sic) as forceful as a war to bring back the land to the majority of South Africans… we must never suffer under the illusion that now its (sic) democracy we will be able to reclaim the land through peaceful means, through peaceful acts.”
- Ronald Lamola
In 1964, a 13-year-old student at London's Barbara Speake Stage School was hired as an extra for the Beatles' first movie, A Hard Day's Night.
He was sent to the Scala Theatre and placed in the audience while the Beatles filmed their concert sequence.
His job was simple: be one of the screaming young Beatles fans.
When the movie came out, he looked for himself but couldn't find the footage.
Thirty years later, producer Walter Shenson gave him the unused film from that day. He went through it until he finally found his 13-year-old self in the audience.
The performance was "You Can't Do That," which had been cut from the finished film.
The kid in the middle of this photo went on to have quite a music career of his own.
That 13-year-old was Phil Collins.
48%.
That is the effective tax burden on someone earning R30,000 a month in South Africa. Same rate as someone earning R432,000 a month in a top European country.
The numbers sound wrong. They are not.
Where the 48% comes from.
PAYE is what people see on the payslip. It is not the whole picture.
VAT - 15% on almost everything. Every swipe. Every fill-up. Most people do not think of VAT as a tax. It is the largest single source of government revenue after income tax.
Fuel levy - built into every litre. Petrol at R26.92 inland includes roughly R3.80 in fuel levy and Road Accident Fund levy. That is a tax on getting to work.
Then there are the charges that look like fees but function like taxes. E-tolls. Municipal surcharges. Electricity tariffs with embedded levies.
Add the visible and the invisible - you get 48%.
The key difference with Europe.
In the Netherlands. In Denmark. In Germany. High taxes come with a social contract.
Free tertiary education. Universal healthcare that does not require medical aid. Childcare subsidies. Paid parental leave that covers an actual year. Robust unemployment support.
You pay 45%. And you get services back.
In South Africa you pay 48%. And then you pay again - privately.
Medical aid because public healthcare is collapsed. Security because policing is broken. Private schools because public education cannot be trusted. Solar panels or a generator because Eskom cannot guarantee power. Water tanks because the municipality cannot guarantee supply.
The middle-class earner pays twice. Once in tax. Once in escape.
Who actually pays.
There are about 8.3 million personal income taxpayers in South Africa. A relatively small slice of the population. The top earners supply most of the revenue.
Corporations optimise. The wealthy structure. Offshore trusts. Semigration. Emigration. The R30,000 earner cannot escape - it comes out before they see the money.
The base is narrow. The burden is concentrated. The services are not.
Why it accumulated this way.
No one designed this system. It grew.
Income tax funds the general budget. VAT funds the general budget. Fuel levy funds roads and the general budget. Each mechanism made sense when it was introduced. Each one expanded quietly.
Raising income tax visibly upsets people. Raising VAT is less visible - it is embedded in the price. Raising fuel levy is buried in the pump price. Municipal charges are non-negotiable.
The objective was not fairness to the middle class. It was revenue extraction with minimum political friction.
The uncomfortable part.
This is not a policy failure. It is a policy success. The system extracts efficiently. It offends quietly. And the people who carry it do not have the means to opt out.
The question is not whether 48% is too high.
It is how long the R30,000 earner can pay twice - once in tax and once in escape - before something breaks.
TERRIFYING: The Netherlands has brought a Hamas terrorist from Gaza into the country and given him free accommodation and a scholarship at a top university.
He plays Hamas videos at the university and tries to indoctrinate other students. He even says, “That’s me,” while playing footage of the October 7 massacre, implying that he took part in it.
Yesterday, it was also revealed that the former bodyguard of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was granted asylum and citizenship in the UK, and then plotted a major terrorist attack targeting Jews.
What the hell is going on in Europe? They are literally importing the most vicious and dangerous terrorists.
This massacre in El Geneina, Sudan unfolded on June 15, 2025. Hundreds of non-Arab people were gunned down while trying to leave the West Darfur capital.
Let this be a reminder of what "they" do to Christians and all infidels. Islam is not a religion, nor are they peaceful.
🚨 PASTOR THANKS NETANYAHU AS CHRISTIANS ARE BUTCHERED IN NIGERIA
Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo appeals to the U.S. and Israel:
“I have to thank you, Benjamin Netanyahu. My government… did not speak about the genocide in Nigeria. But they were able to stand and speak for the Palestinians., and today the Terrorists have butchered yet another set of Christians.”
The crosses are being loaded to be shipped to South Africa. Let's see if the South African government gives us permission to display them at the Union Buildings.
To the Government of South Africa 🇿🇦:
You call it many things, but rarely by its name, and that silence is telling.
Whatever term you choose to avoid, the substance remains: white farmers are being targeted, and you know it.
Your state media does not cover it with the urgency the death toll demands.
Your law enforcement has not treated the protection of farming communities as a priority.
Attacks continue, prosecutions lag, and farmers report being left to defend themselves.
That pattern, silence from your media, inaction from your police, no meaningful accounting from your government, is not neutral.
It is a choice, and it speaks louder than any statement you've issued.
The cover cannot hold forever; the facts are surfacing regardless of what you choose to report.
Thousands have died. There has been no reckoning, no visible remorse, and no serious campaign to stop the killing.
A government that will not name a crisis, will not report it, and will not stop it has made its priorities clear.
OMG 🚨 UK TV Host GOES OFF on UK Defense Secretary for refusing to connect illegal mass migration with security risks in the UK.
This might one of the best on air TV rants you will ever see. After 5 Muslims tried blowing up RAF Air Force base in London.
The people in Europe are FED UP with immigration and their failed government that protects illegals over its citizens.
This happened in Venda, one of the residents asked the ANC comrades to provide water and he was slapped right in front of everyone.
ANC comrades keep proving that, they are always responsible for the killings of their fellow comrades.
President Trump was right. The media has been lying to you.
This weekend, Afrikaners and friends planted 3,000 white crosses in front of the Washington Monument, displaying the names of people murdered during farm attacks in South Africa. Many of these killings included horrific torture and in many cases political motives were obvious.
For decades, our attempts to raise awareness were met with deafening silence... until President Trump spoke out.
When he did so, he was viciously attacked and called a liar. When we campaign against this ongoing crisis, we are told that WE are the problem.
We are grateful for the support we have received from the United States Government.
We have a right to live and prosper in South Africa, because this is our home.
We have a right to be free.
Under its own race-based empowerment laws, the ANC treats restrictions on a minority as legitimate domestic policy, not something wrong.
Yet when Zimbabwean officials face sanctions for unleashing violence on citizens, journalists, gutting free speech, and looting state coffers, the same government calls that punishment unjust and demands it be lifted.
Ronald Lamola's UN appeal to remove sanctions on Zimbabwe's ruling elite sits awkwardly beside Pretoria's own race-based employment and ownership laws, restrictions imposed on white South Africans on the very basis, race, that his government insists is unacceptable when others apply it.
Penalizing your own productive citizens and businesses by race, while shielding a neighboring regime accused of repression and graft, isn't principled foreign policy.
It's a double standard dressed up as solidarity.
Advocate Mark Oppenheimer stood at a podium in Washington and walked through the moment Julius Malema looked a White farm-attack survivor in the eye and shrugged.
During the AfriForum “Kill the Boer” litigation, Oppenheimer put the facts to Malema under oath. An elderly White farmer testified from a wheelchair. Attackers had burst in. A shotgun blast dropped his wife in front of him with a catastrophic head wound. The same blast tore through his own 10th thoracic vertebra and severed his spinal cord. He would never walk again.
In court he broke down describing how the chant “Kill the Boer / Kill the farmer” still yanks him straight back to that room. Oppenheimer asked if that testimony, the murdered wife, the shattered spine, the tears, would make Malema stop singing it.
Malema’s answer was, “No. I am not moved. Let me repeat five times. I’m not moved by that case you brought here. I am not moved. And if that will make me lose this case, let me lose it. I am not moved.”
South Africa’s courts later decided the chant was not hate speech. Oppenheimer told the DC audience that is exactly why the fight had to leave those courtrooms and go international.
We planted 3,000 crosses in Washington, D.C.
Every cross carries the name of a person killed in a farm attack in South Africa.
I refuse to leave them alone.
These people deserve Freedom.
US ambassador @BrentBozell explains how South Africa’s president, Ramaphosa:
1) Refuses to condemn “K* the Boer” as a call to violence.
2) Refuses to improve rural safety, even with plans ready and America offering support with funding.
3) Refuses to loosen race laws in Mining and Telecoms (where he has personal interests).
The SA government refuses to come to the table on anything and openly antagonizes the US, but will blame the white minority for the deteriorating relations.
🚨 3,000 CROSSES PLANTED AT WASHINGTON MONUMENT FOR SOUTH AFRICA’S MURDERED FARMERS
Around 3,000 crosses have been planted near the Washington Monument to commemorate South African farmers killed in brutal farm murders — known as “plaasmoorde” — over the past 30 years.
A stark memorial in the heart of Washington, D.C.
His eyes have seen unspeakable bloodshed. His feet have grown weary from funeral after funeral — burying his own church members slaughtered by Fulani jihadists seizing ancestral lands and imposing mini-caliphates in villages south of Jos.
But Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo will not break. In the heart of Plateau State, central Nigeria, he stays to encourage the living and keep the faith alive.
Christine Robinson’s case is one I will never forget.
Christine was a retired British teacher who had made South Africa her home. After her husband died, she continued running the game lodge they had built together near Thabazimbi.
On 30 July 2014, Christine was raped and murdered at that lodge.
Andrew Ndlovu fled after the attack. Years passed, but Christine’s family never stopped looking for him.
I became personally involved with the family, following leads and trying to find him. Six years to the day after Christine was murdered, a tip-off following another social media appeal led us to Johannesburg.
Together with SAPS members, led by W/O Crewe and former police officer Colonel Sakkie Louwrens, we found Ndlovu that very evening in Johannesburg and arrested him.
I will never forget that day. The feeling of satisfaction to tell a family that we got him!
But even an arrest was only the beginning of the road to justice.
Almost eight years after Christine’s murder, Ndlovu finally stood trial. His DNA linked him to the crime and in April 2022 he was convicted of rape and murder. He ultimately received two life sentences.
Christine’s family waited almost eight years for that moment.
Their persistence is something I will always remember.
A case does not become less important because the headlines disappear. A victim does not matter less because years have passed.
Sometimes justice requires people who simply refuse to stop looking.
This is why we do what we do. 🙏🏼
