@MultChoiceMedia @philip_my_poole @SenDuckworth If this verse didn't mean we exist in the womb, it very clearly means that God knows us before we exist and that "forming us in the womb" is the way he has ordained to create us, so by aborting an unborn "fetus", you are taking away the possibility of a life God ordained to be.

@SenDuckworth The Catholic stance on IVF is essentially the same stance on abortion. Multiple embryos are fertilized for the process, and all but one are discarded. Since we believe life begins at conception, that is clearly wrong. Absolutely no one is saying your daughter shouldn't exist.

So what if the word "abortion" isn't in the bible? There are very explicit verses that talk about the sacredness of a life in the womb.
