@SianHerfield @WomensSpaceIre @HJoyceGender @IrishCathNews @wicklowwomen4w1 Your point is inaccurate. The NHS does still use the term 'intersex' especially if the patient prefers that.
So as i said, DSD, VSC and intersex terms are used. It hasn't been banned as of 2006 as you stated.

But the NHS still widely uses the word intersex along side the terms disorder/differences of sex development. As the word implies individuals are born with genitalia, chromosones, gonads and hormones that don't fit a binary definition.
