5 defenders he was playing against btw. Terrible game in terrible conditions. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a decent game up there when there is a gale blowing.
Wilmot having been here for years actually understood what to do in the first half. He knew that he could hit the ball as hard as he liked in the right channel and the wind would hold it up either along the deck or in the air.
I just can’t believe the lads didn’t try to work opportunities to shoot in those conditions in the second half. It’s what I’d have been telling them to do.

I hope the fans muttering are realising how difficult it is to even pass the ball to a teammate today let alone play good football.
One thing i will say is i hope we shoot every chance we get from anywhere in the second half because Bristol City did nothing with the conditions in the their favour in the first half.
