@ValerieAnne1970 I reacted badly to the DPT vaccine as a toddler and was hospitalized as a result. The pediatrician couldn’t explain it besides possibly an allergic reaction due to the specific symptoms. Never got another or a booster in my 55 years.
@MountainMcRae@TradAdvocate I had two of my three in my 20’s, and my surprise package in my late 30’s. She’s 17 now and has kept me young, and I find I have endless patience that I didn’t have when I was younger. I would go to the moon for any of them, but I believe my youngest has definitely benefited most
@TradAdvocate I encouraged my kids to be financially stable before starting families. That said, they all know I’m more than happy to look after my grandchildren in whatever capacity they choose.
@TradAdvocate I both loved and detested my job when my kids were young. Salaried employee working 10-12 hour days. I hated it because my boss knew I needed that job to support my kids, and he played that hand effectively. I don’t want my own kids to have to go through that same humiliation
@DoomKinetix@TradAdvocate Sadly, we see the results in the news on almost a daily basis. Children abused and murdered by their young parents that were not yet mentally equipped to take on a lifetime of commitment and care for another living being.
@TradAdvocate Why are you advocating for high school age girls to become pregnant? Statistically, those babies don’t have a good chance for a stable childhood. I had my first child at 25, my parents were 50. They were more than young enough to be active grandparents.
@Suzierizzo1 When I was a kid, speaking disrespectfully to any adult, especially an elderly woman, would have gotten us dragged by our collar or ear by the nearest neighborhood parent to our front door where our own parents would have dealt out punishment.
@TinySmilesHQ Ok, mom is allowing WAY too much drama. What’s going to happen when the injury is serious? Have a whole conversation about his feelings before the ER doc treats him? Tell him to hold still, pull the thorn out, clean it up and move on. Five minutes max. Also put his shoes on him.
@trojanpanda@LoudOutside There are shelters everywhere to safely surrender a pet, it is not necessary, and it’s cruel, to leave them to fend for themselves.
@trojanpanda@LoudOutside Despite this being an actual crime in California, somehow nobody actually gets more than a slap on the wrist. Law states up to six months in jail. I personally don’t care what the circumstance is, the jail sentence should be mandatory.
@saniyafatma1278 I believe this is exactly what deliveries should involve. You don’t want wet groceries? Either don’t order on a rainy day, or provide a table to put the delivery on. Do you expect the delivery person to levitate the order for you?
@FranzGauguin@Brianjh0867@Jesii_ca_M True feminists are are strong, quiet, capable woman. These man hating creatures of the modern day that call themselves feminists have ZERO idea of the true meaning of the word.
@Brianjh0867@Jesii_ca_M Not a redneck woman but grew up as the only girl with three brothers. While I’m strictly against violence, I fully support self defense. In other words, if someone hits me they had better be prepared, I’m more than capable of defending myself 😊
@Jesii_ca_M You want to be respected but you don’t want to show respect? My advice is keep your hands to yourself and you’ll not need to explore this question further.
@TradAdvocate Parents with these issues should have mandatory counseling or risk losing custody AND visitation until they prove they can manage their anger appropriately.
