@arleneseesit That's the DUPs call. They can continue on with business as usual if they wish. They will loose votes to UUP over Donaldson and orange/loyalist votes to TUV over Drumcree. So they may hope there's going to be a massive turnout of these middle class unionists to get them elected

@seanie76 @pmac79 Firstly ECHR law enshrines the right to freedom of assembly with added weight given to traditional parades. Secondly who decides whether something is wanted or not? You? The IRA army council? Dissident republicans? It's the PC that balances rights & makes a legal determination

The decision was taken by the PC and confirmed several times in court as legal and compliant with ECHR law. Thats who decides on parades the OO have accepted that it's now up to republicans to do the same

@derek_fee Not once did he ever say the PC determination is the law and the GRRC should obey it. While for the last 28 years he's been telling the OO to comply with the PC determinations and the law.

@CharlieCurrie12 NI exists by the will of its people who wish it to continue under British rule. A position all nationalists accepted at the GFA and by the Irish government. They have a simple choice between British rule or EU rule neither unionists or nationalists want to rule themselves.
