In 1981 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐖𝐋 became the first Derby Sale graduate to win the @CheltenhamRaces Gold Cup🏆for Peter Easterby, owners Robin & Jim Wilson, ridden by the latter who was first amateur to win the race since 1947! The Cantab gelding was bred by Mrs J Ferris from Co Down 🇮🇪
