Because even though he didn’t accept your offer, you still came here to tweet this. Now imagine if he let you buy him food, you will release a music video.
at this age i can’t associate with anyone who lacks integrity or accountability. i give grace because nobody is perfect, but a lack of principles is something i will never overlook.
KPLC, It’s 2025 — Why Are We Still Typing 20-Digit Tokens Like It’s 1999? @KenyaPower_Care@KenyaPower;
It’s 2025. We can pay bills in seconds, trade stocks on our phones, and even get groceries delivered by drones — yet, to get electricity, Kenyans still have to pause life and key in a 20-digit code like they’re cracking a nuclear launch sequence. How did we become a tech-savvy nation trapped in the stone age of power supply?
Buying tokens should not feel like a ritual. You load money through M-Pesa, wait for a message, squint at 20 digits, and carefully type them in — praying you don’t make a single mistake. In an era of instant payments, why hasn’t Kenya Power automated token updates? Why can’t your meter recharge instantly once you pay?
This is not a luxury; it’s a basic expectation in a digital economy. Automation exists. Smart meters exist. Integration with payment systems already exists. So what’s missing? Vision. KPLC seems stuck in a comfort zone of inefficiency, while the rest of the country is sprinting ahead.
If mobile banking can reconcile millions of transactions in seconds, if ride-hailing apps can locate drivers in real time, then Kenya Power has no excuse. Its resistance to innovation is not just frustrating — it’s embarrassing. Every manual token entered is a reminder that KPLC has refused to evolve with its consumers.
Kenyans deserve a seamless power experience — instant, intelligent, and transparent. It’s time for Kenya Power to wake up, modernize, and give us a system that reflects the progress of this nation. Enough of the 20-digit nonsense. We want instant light, not outdated bureaucracy disguised as service.
The future is automated. Either KPLC joins it — or gets left behind in the dark.
So, gentlemen — like Amerix once said, “You are only one payslip away from poverty.”
I used to think that was just a strong statement — until today.
Today, I watched it unfold before my very eyes. Painfully. Helplessly.
A senior manager — sharp, confident, and full of promise — was called into the boardroom. Moments later, he walked out a different man. His boss had just let him go.
What broke me most wasn’t the news itself, but his story.
He had just moved his entire family from Mombasa to Nairobi — only six days ago. Boxes still unpacked. Children barely settled in their new school.
Three months in, probation ended today. And with it, his job.
Just like that.
We spoke afterwards. His voice was calm, but heavy — each word carrying a weight only a man in that position can understand. I could hear the silence between his sentences. The kind of silence that speaks of shattered plans and quiet despair.
I sent him some airtime, hoping it helps him reach out, find another opportunity.
But deep down, I know — he needs more than that. He needs peace. Hope. A new beginning.
May he find them all.
It shall be well.
Raila Odinga’s gravesite will remain a pilgrimage venue for so many years to come.
The Odingas need to find a way of ensuring the resting grounds of Baba remain public and accessible to anyone who want to ‘report’ Kenya to Baba.
Kang’o village entrepreneurs, if they are smart, can develop an entire tourism eco-system and improve the wealth of the village by the very presence of Baba, resting in their midsts.
A trip to check on Baba will be like a trip to Mecca.
Siaya County Government Department of TOURISM needs to move with speed and curate an experience like no other.
RAILA ODINGA IS AN ETERNAL HISTORICAL FIGURE.
-@Disembe
90% of speeches at baba funeral came from hypocrites.
For example, Kingi says he was too loyal to baba, and yet he left baba last election when baba needed him most , he even formed his party and supported baba opponent and abused him properly .
Wonders will never cease.
Rest in peace #Jakom
I have seen a clip of Opiyo Wandayi saying Raila Odinga left Nyanza region in government, and that Nyanza will stick with Ruto up to and beyond 2027,
The only people Raila left in government are Opiyo, Mbadi, Joho and Oparanya, not Nyanza region, Stay informed.
This college student needed transportation - so he built a wooden electric bike from scratch using cedar with regenerative braking and bright headlights. This young innovator calls it

CEMENT BLANKETS ARE INSANELY SMART
It’s soft like fabric - until you add water - then it turns into solid concrete.
It uses 90% less material, cuts construction time by 60%, and 3 workers can lay 200 m² per hour.
Whoever made this deserves a Nobel Prize in "Why Didn’t We Think of This Sooner."

Go to Kilifi and see the real definition of poverty. I went to a place called Bamba and I shed tears. No water, no food, and some of the houses that people live in, not for any human
