I'm kinda not having fun posting on here anymore, so I'm probably going to stop. ๐ซช
(Thinking about just deleting the app in general too.)
I'll keep the account up. But I'll be exploring other platforms.
I'm going to be uploading speedpaints on TikTok (@/russianfig) regularly for the next couple of months (all posts for June are already scheduled), highlighting things I found helpful and funny while drawing.
They aren't the most informative. Just a little thing on the side.
With Gwaine holding a deck of cards as well, implying that the โcan you draw?โ line means pick up a card. With Gwaine then putting down a Full house. Then we have the next scene, where Elyan is actually drawing. (2/3)
I'll take it another step further and say tracing other people's work for practice is fine, too, as long as it's credited or not profited from.
Idk, I'm pretty liberal with this stuff.
I'm back after months, and I see the same debate about tracing art from a year agoโ whether it's okay or not. My degree is all about 3D modeling, so I use it to my advantage. I bet those who say you can't trace 3D models would be shocked by how I make my physical models lol.
(I can create a lot of models in a short time frame like this. )
My point is that 3D modeling (yes, even tracing it) is a very useful shortcut.
And I'll go so far to say that tracing photos/photobashing is fine.
Pro: I have anatomy knowledge
Con: I can draw a hand with six fingers and it doesnโt look that weird, so sometimes I donโt even notice Iโve drawn six fingers
