It's now been 3 years since the first commit to the turtle crate! Turtle is a @rustlang library that allows you to create fun and interesting animated drawings! It's a great tool for teaching/learning Rust.
Here's a preview of some of the things that happened this year! (THREAD)
It was on this day 2 years ago (Aug 5, 2017) that @sunjay03 made the first commit to the turtle crate! This @rustlang implementation of "Turtle Graphics" inspired by the Python turtle module and the LOGO programming language has been through a lot of milestones! (THREAD)
Finally, we'd like to end this thread by saying a big THANK YOU to everyone who has used the library or contributed to making it great! It has been a pleasure to develop this over the past few years and we're looking forward to the future! ❤️🦀
