PTB is now available for all Rust Console players! This month's release is primarily focused on bug fixes and quality of life improvements, and we're continuing to expand our high pop server testing with more 200 pop servers that we need your help pushing to their limits.

To help speed things up and make testing a little more exciting, these servers will also be running at x2 rates. Jump in over the next couple of days, fill up the servers, and stress test them as much as possible so we can properly evaluate performance in an environment that closely reflects the live game.

The team will be keeping a close eye on server activity and performance throughout the test. If the available servers start filling up to the point where long queues begin to form, we'll look to open a limited number of additional servers to help more players take part.

This testing window will end on September 17th and servers will close, so be sure to jump in before then.

One thing to keep in mind: PTB is a testing environment, so things may break, servers may go down for longer periods, and changes can happen with very little notice. That's not meant to discourage anyone from taking part. It's exactly what allows us to move faster, test changes more efficiently, and improve the overall experience before anything reaches the main branch.

We're currently in the process of granting free access to PlayStation users who upgraded their game from Old Gen to New Gen. This will all be done before the first PTB update goes live, end of this month.
