Things my mental illness sometimes stops me doing..
• picking up the phone
• leaving the house
• eating healthy
• exercising
• laughing
• doing my hair or makeup
• getting dressed
Sometimes being able to do one of these things is a victory.

When a child is brave and tells you they are being abused, neglected,
Traumatized.
Can we just sit with them and believe them.
Instead of questioning them, doubting them.
Making them suffer more.
Not only did I suffer at the hands of my abusers.
I suffered not been heard.
IF YOU HAVE AN INVISIBLE ILLNESS
1 of the hard things about it is that because u look fine people assume u arent in pain-mental or physical. I NEVER want2look as bad as I feel some days cos that would frighten dogs&small children
BUT id like 2b believed-do u feel the that way 2?
You won’t be met with protest at your houses of worship, or people lobbying for you to lose that right to take your kids where you deem fit even IF it’s a statistically risky environment.
Weird how that works isn’t it? Freedom of expression goes both directions.
