Warning to the 2,974 active addresses on Linea! https://t.co/JYZicOtIit

🚨 $LINEA has another token unlock scheduled for October 10.

Meanwhile, look at the state of the ecosystem:

• DeFi TVL: $24.8M
• Daily DEX volume: ~$257K
• Daily chain fees: ~$942

And now potentially hundreds of millions more LINEA become unlocked.

Where is the organic demand supposed to come from to absorb these emissions?

You can't build a sustainable ecosystem on token unlocks and incentives alone. At some point, real adoption and actual revenue have to justify the tokenomics.

As someone who actually built on Linea, I find these numbers extremely disappointing.

Builders deserve better. Holders deserve answers.

This post is brought to you by those that specifically attacked me for protecting others! @LineaBuild

Why don’t most crypto wallets have real multifactor authentication?

With a traditional self custody wallet, your private key is the authorization. If someone steals your seed phrase or private key, they can import it into another wallet and move your funds.

No password needed.
No authenticator needed.
No security alert can stop it.

Even adding Google Authenticator to a wallet app wouldn’t fully solve the problem. An attacker with the private key could simply bypass that wallet entirely.

The technology exists to do better.

Smart accounts, passkeys, multisig, hardware based signing, spending limits, and on chain security policies can make stealing a single credential much less catastrophic.

Crypto has spent years focusing on decentralization and self custody.

But here's the question:

Why doesn’t your blockchain prioritize your safety?

The problem won't be fixed until these companies start prioritizing your safety over their spotlight.

Stay safe fam. You are the beacon.

GEMINI 3.8 FLASH SHOWS HOW FAST AI IS BEING COMMODITIZED

$GOOGL launched Gemini 3.8 Flash for coding and agentic workflows alongside a Cyber model built specifically for vulnerability discovery and patching. Flash does not beat the frontier models everywhere, but it wins roughly half the benchmark set while costing just $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output through year-end.

That price-performance gap is really the point. Flash costs roughly one-seventh as much as Claude Opus 5 on output while remaining competitive across many workloads, which suggests the cheaper model tier is getting good enough for a much larger share of always-on agentic work rather than simply serving as a lightweight fallback.

The catch is that the introductory pricing doubles in 2027 to $1.50 input and $7.50 output, so some of today’s cost advantage narrows quickly. That makes this less about Google permanently undercutting everyone and more about how fast capable models are moving down the cost curve.

Cyber is where the story gets more interesting. Google says it achieved more than 70% success across 20 languages and produced 2.6x more correct patches than larger commercial models, but access is initially restricted to trusted defenders through Fairwind. That tells you Google sees the offensive capability as real too, and as these models get better at finding vulnerabilities the distribution question may become just as important as the benchmark itself.

Cybersecurity Expert Warns AI Will Be the Cyber Weapon of the Future

“It used to take us five days with two smart humans. It’s five minutes to ten minutes with AI now. It finds all paths in almost immediately. It can think, learn, and has total recall.”

“It will be the cyber weapon in the future. We’re going to end up creating models that are offense against cell phones, offense against drones, offense against Windows, deep models actively working the same way a human did, but thousands and thousands of times the speed. AI is going to be embraced by the criminal element, and we can’t withstand it unless we build it ourselves and figure it out.”
