Congratulations to Peter George on his appointment to the Cricket Australia Contracted Umpire Panel (CACUP) for the 2026/27 season.

Joining fellow South Australian Eloise Sheridan, George will be eligible to officiate in all Cricket Australia senior domestic men’s competitions, including the Sheffield Shield, One-Day Cup and KFC BBL.

A massive congratulations to state scorer Neil Ricketts on reaching an extraordinary milestone - 800 games! Neil was honoured with his milestone certificate by former international umpire Daryl Harper at the SA Men’s One-Day Cup match on September 24 at Karen Rolton Oval.

On Sunday, July 27, we hosted our Match Officials Season Launch breakfast to formally acknowledge the dedication of our umpires and scorers, and to mark the beginning of the new season.

The afternoon featured our annual Umpiring Seminar with sessions focused on Preparation, Routines & Professionalism, Practical Decision Making, and Resilience & Mental Wellbeing.
