@RykerKemono Heck, I got fired from my job I had then, because of me applying for the bursary. My boss even laughed in my face and said I had a snowballs hope in getting the bursary, because of my skin color. I would have taken out a study loan if I didn't get the bursary.

@RykerKemono The irony, everyone told me I shouldn't apply for the bursary, as I had no chance, as a white guy, from getting it. They still have to take in 8% white students (sort of DEI policy) for the bursary. Most white guys just didn't bother (doom mindset) so I had less computition.

@FoxenXI @RykerKemono True, but if you always believe you are doomed, and that it is out of our control, you never feel that you are the driver of your future. In South Africa, there are still many who still blame Apartheid for their missery, even though the gov have tons of programs to uplift them.
