@McJuggerNuggets Based. I'd kill the kid too
Downs syndrome is a lifelong impairment and it would be better if no one had it. Being able to control and filter out these defects is better for everyone
Common eugenics W
@Smeggman32@VivaldiVril Allowing a severely disabled child to continue gestating is directly causing defects.
Killing them early is a mercy to everyome involved.
"An estimated 67% - 85% of pregnancies in the U.S. with a Down syndrome diagnosis are aborted."
Yea that's called eugenics, it's what any sane civilisation would do...
There is something rather distasteful about the fetishization of Down's Syndrome (mainly coming from various kinds of Christians).
When they start with the highly performative holier-than-thou routine, I am reminded of various well-off Liberals who preach the gospel of mass-immigration from the Third World.
They just cannot resist showing how “good” and “moral” they are.
Of course, they are not. On the contrary, they lack empathy.
In the case of those who insist that Down's Syndrome should not be grounds for abortion, they show no consideration for the person suffering (remember – you are a soul and you have a body; no one would like to be born into a body that will only bring them suffering) or for their parents.
In the case of those who insist that it is a “Human Right” to live in European countries, they show no consideration for the Whites who are not wealthy enough to move away from the now “enriched” areas.
Again, this type of moral posturing is never about empathy. It is merely a shallow display that any astute person can see through. On a personal note, I absolutely despise falseness.
For those who sincerely view children with Down's Syndrome as a gift – go ahead and adopt one.
I say the same about the proponents of mass-immigration – go ahead and move into such an area.
Lastly, needless to say, those suffering from Down's Syndrome should be treated with dignity and receive all necessary help from society – a good society takes care of its weak.
@seele_BHG It is quite ironic that the only good thing that Christianity did for European people was to ban consanguineous marriages to prevent diseases, all while being a sanctuary for hookers, junkies, drunkards , losers and retards.
"NOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T ABORT A RETARDED BABY THAT WILL JUST BE A DRAIN ON EVERYONE THEY WILL EVER KNOW! YOU HAVE TO WASTE YOUR ENTIRE LIFE RAISING A HOUSEPET THAT CAN BARELY ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR OWN EXISTENCE! GOD COMMANDS US TO SPEND OUR LIVES NURTURING SOCIAL PARASITES!!!!!!!!!"

What I am saying is simply, eugenics can be good actually, but it is un-Christian, hence Christianity is not some unalloyed good and will eventually cause society wide malformations (Liberal in nature). It will eventually become incompatible with good decisions.
Don't care much about this individual case, but is it not interesting that flooding the world with as many retarded genetic abominations and bio-weapons as possible is seen as the Christian thing to do?
It seems to be a fundamentally liberal religion.
How long until we see the same groups arguing that removing the genetic abnormality from the fetus is too eugenic too (when abortion is no longer required), you fundamentally change the person. It would be, in essence, still the death of a down syndrome child. What then?
