#RUpassion taught me a lot about myself. When you talk out how you feel I believe you finally can see some realizations and come to some conclusions that you were never able to answer before. I have learned so much and I'm glad I took part in this passion project with my class.
#RUpassion if I could change anything I did, I would have maybe interviewed some of my old bosses and colleagues to explain what they thought about me as a coworker and share their POV about hiring me for their internships and work opportunities. In the future, I might do this.
#RUpassion my favorite part about the project was being able to reflect on everything I have accomplished. I haven't thought about some jobs and some people in a very long time and it was heartwarming to be able to recall some of my favorite moments. I truly loved interning.
#rupassion I am not the best public speaker in the world so making these videos in front of the camera wasn't the easiest task for me. I had to find the courage to speak up and I did it! My public speaking skills improved and I got better at being in front of the camera.
#rupassion the goal of my passion project is to help people become more aware that they can control their lives. I want to motivate people & help them act instead of making excuses as to why they can't do something. If I can do that for my followers I will be so happy.
#rupassion my friends believe the videos represent my authentic thoughts because they have been listening to me talk about my internships for 3 years now & they believe what I said in the videos makes sense based on what I have said in the past to them. Therefore I am consistent.
#RUpassion what is hardest about this project is making sure I say the right things. I don't want what I say to get misconstrued or ripped apart. I only hope what I say is seen as positive, informative, and helpful as opposed to frowned upon or nonbeneficial to my viewers.
#RUPassion what is great about recording videos & putting them on Youtube is that they will exist forever. Your legacy is able to live on & I will be able to hopefully help people long after I am gone due to my videos existing digitally forever. Photos and videos can outlive me.
#RUpassion I like making these videos not only for other people but for myself. I feel like this is going to be great to look back on when I'm older or can be used to remind myself of how far I have come over the years. It's crazy to see how much I have done in three years alone.
#RUPassion I am attempting to nail my videos the first time so I don't have to edit. I feel like editing at times can be less genuine and I want to remain authentic. If I said something, that's most likely what I meant. I want these videos to be raw and off the top of my head.
#rupassion I watched videos of @garyvee to get a sense of how I should tell my story and how I should give advice. Gary makes sure to help his followers at all costs by suggesting ideas, not by saying what he thinks is the end all be all. He is extremely understanding and wise.
#RUPassion had my roommates listen to my drafts of what I want to say in my videos. I feel like it will be hard to memorize exactly what I said and I don't want to look at my notes. I want to be more personable and stay off-script. My biggest goal is to remain genuine and real.
#RUPassion realized that I lost some of my videos I created so I must refilm. I am too much of a perfectionist so I might refilm all of my videos so it doesn't look all over the place content-wise. I want to make sure the backdrop is the same (library) and make it seem whole.
#RUpassion working at Highsnobiety was amazing because it taught me what Project Management is. The project manager is basically the quarterback of any professional team who makes sure that everything that needs to get done, gets done. They are superstars and motivate everyone.
#RUPassion I talked about my boss Colm Dillane (KidSuper) and how he is a good leader/person in that he is creative, inventive, and kind. Personality counts a lot when being a leader. Enthusiasm goes a lot way and makes people want to work with you and be associated with you.
#DCIM353c I've been shown how emerging digital technologies such as social media, mobile devices, virtual worlds & games, artificial intelligence, etc. can create disruptive changes in relationships, organizations, societies, & selves. Learning how to use this tech is crucial.
@Shuran0412#LIDCF19 in order to become a good leader you must engage and interact with your followers. Getting a better sense of what they want and need is how you will be able to understand them and provide for them so that they feel like what you are doing is beneficial and relatable.
@RandyDeGregori1#LIDCF19 I too think it is very important to have a digital presence on social media. Most people are discovered on social media which makes/helps them become both influential, powerful, and popular. It's harder to become "Known" when you aren't on social media in 2019.
@Miaoli55426695 #LIDCF19 I think IGTV is a great way to spread your influence. It's very similar to YouTube as it allows you to upload longer videos to your followers but on a different channel. Spreading your influence on different channels is how you claim the title of leader in 2019.
#LIDCF19 Social media is transformative for good reasons. These new channels generate new types of interaction and they create new ways to relate to one another and lead. Leaders use social media to manage their influence on various channels. https://t.co/FqrY9x1363
