It's World Menopause Day and we've put together an information board at the hospice with general information about menopause, symptoms and resources, plus our CEO and Associate Director for Clinical Services tell how St Wilfrid's supports those going through menopause.
It was great to celebrate the successes of our Young Clinical Volunteers last night. They have volunteered on IPU and in the community each week for the last 6 months. They have learned a lot and contributed so much to patient care. Well done and good luck for the future
Great opportunities in a supportive and compassionate organisation. Open days in June, come along or get in touch to find out more. @RuthBacon18@tschrikker@cstwomey@stwilfridstweet https://t.co/A5cFyKbY0i
If everyone who is grateful for NHS staff right now followed and retweeted, we would reach a million by midnight.
It will take just two seconds to do, and you can help us share important information that could help save lives.
Please share @Nigella_Lawson. Chatting through our advance care plans with loved ones may feel daunting, but it’s so important ❤️ https://t.co/mHDfgbz8yB
A support package for charities needs to be agreed within days to avoid first wave of insolvencies at the end of March when payroll is due. Once charities are insolvent their work stops immediately and beneficiaries will need to rely on the state again. Are we willing to risk it?
Hospice inspiration No2, dying patient made plans to go straight to crematorium when dies so his loved ones can all attend a memorial service once social distancing over. @hospiceuk don’t be afraid to #talkcovid19
Doing IPU round today @stwilfridstweet and totally inspired by patient with chronic illness approach to #respectprocess . Already spoke with family. Knows will not survive if gets COVID 19 and plan now explicit. Don’t be scared to involve patients in ACP.
