CERN basically made a tiny “Big Bang” in a lab… excuse me?? 😭🔬
We’re recreating matter from the universe’s earliest moments just to understand where everything began. This is why I love science.

Ebola is scary, but it also shows why science matters 🧬
Vaccines, research and fast detection can turn panic into protection. That’s the side of science I’ll never stop appreciating

A vaccine designed around your own tumour 🧬
That sentence alone feels like the future arriving early. Maybe the next era of cancer treatment won’t be one-size-fits-all.
Are we finally entering the age of truly personal medicine?

Elon Musk: “I think ultimately we will have to have some kind of universal basic income. I don’t think we’re going to have a choice. I think it’s going to be necessary
There will be fewer and fewer jobs that a robot cannot do better
These are not things that I wish would happen - these are simply things that I think probably will happen
If my assessment is correct, then we need to say, ‘What are we going to do about it?’
Universal basic income is going to be necessary
The much harder challenge is how do people then have meaning? A lot of people derive their meaning from their employment
If you’re not needed, if there’s not a need for your labor, what’s the meaning? Do you have meaning? Do you feel useless? That’s a much harder problem to deal with”
Three supermassive black holes in ONE distant galaxy?? 🤯🔭
Every time I think space can’t get any crazier, science proves me wrong. I genuinely love discoveries like this because they remind me how little we still understand about our universe

We finally figured out why 2,000-year-old Roman concrete survives in seawater while our modern concrete crumbles in decades. The Romans used "hot mixing" with lime clasts. When the concrete cracks and rainwater seeps in, it dissolves the lime, recrystallizes it into the cracks, and literally heals itself. We need to start building like this again.
