@MartinSLewis I’m over £500 in credit with BG. They’ve suggested repaying me some of it BUT also want to raise my DD. Seems counterintuitive. Any suggestions?
On 3 Nov, parents carers across England are taking part in #EveryPairTellsAStory, organised by #SENDSanctuary. They'll each put a pair of children’s shoes outside their LA's HQ representing a child who's been failed. More here: https://t.co/2JqauUHxwT https://t.co/wEJHMg1QxV
We’re inviting families in England to send us their questions about post-16 school and college transport! 🚍

@WestminsterWAG What complete and utter BS. This post shows you know zero about who receives high rate mobility PIP! It certainly isn’t for the conditions you list! Idiot!
Given the weight of evidence we have on the devastation they will cause, I’m struggling to see how any Labour MP can, in all good conscience, vote with the Government on the forthcoming disability cuts. They target some of the most vulnerable people in society - precisely the people Labour should be protecting.
@mmaher70 This wasn’t a vote about access to bank accounts, it was a vote for an amendment to the wording about access to bank account. The ayes are all MPs actively involved in opposing the welfare bill. The people who voted no will be the people who are likely to vote FOR #TakingThePIP
Trussell Trust has said that @UKLabour welfare cuts wont just push people into poverty, but into the severest form of hardship. When the Tories wanted to cut £20 from welfare @Keir_Starmer attacked them. Now in power he wants to cut £5k to £12k a year from the most vulnerable.
New @mmhpi research warns that government’s planned PIP reforms will have a “catastrophic impact” on people’s finances and mental health, and could drive people out of the workplace.
It says "A system which was already doing a poor job of understanding how mental health problems affect... The planned changes will double down on that failure"

@MartinSLewis@cjayanetti@mmhpi There’s also the double hit on those claiming UC/LCWRA. For some it’s their only source of income. How are they supposed to survive if they lose both! It’s not only catastrophic, it is potentially deadly
Hi, I'm currently looking into the impact of the PIP cuts on carers for the Big Issue:
I'm interested in speaking to anyone receives PIP *and* Carer's Allowance, and who is potentially at risk from the new "four point rule"
please RT for circulation
As billions are being spent on new nuclear weapons, while support for disabled people and pensioners is being slashed and so many children are growing up in poverty, let's remember the powerful words of Tony Benn:
@bphillipsonMP “Is the government going to take away the rights of children with Special Needs? It is beginning to look like it.”
