Starting shortly, my favourite event in the parliamentary calendar: the legislators equivalent of winning Willy Wonka's 'Golden Ticket'. Yes, it's the Private Members’ Bill ballot. If an MPs number is pulled out of the fishbowl their Bill has a good chance of becoming law 1/

Balls with numbers corresponding to the Members' names in the Ballot Book are placed in a bowl. The names of 20 MPs are drawn in reverse order and announced immediately. So who will be the 20 lucky legislators in the legislative lottery? Tune in from 9am. 5/
