This is an awful story

Tom Boyd has severe autism but he enjoys stacking shelves so he offered to do it for free at his local Waitrose.

They let him work for SIX HUNDRED HOURS UNPAID over FOUR YEARS

His family asked could he be paid going forward because he's doing such a great job and WAITROSE TOLD HIM TO LEAVE

@waitrose have a heart for christ sake!

The lad is clearly doing a decent job or you wouldn't have had him be your slave for the past 4 years

@MirrorBreaking_ @DailyMirror Literally received the email as we were driving into Liverpool from Bedfordshire. We cannot come to the rescheduled date. Surely they knew earlier than 423pm - 2 hours before doors - there was a problem. Our hotel is full of people who’ve driven from all over for the concert.

@LEGOLANDWindsor please sort out the staff in the Costa in Heartlake City. They appear untrained disinterested ans unorganised and are now refusing to take orders as they are not coping. 30 minutes wait hit one cup of tea.
