@elonmusk I had a chemistry teacher who used to tell us fantastic stories of what he got up to in industry before he became a teacher. I did my first degree in chemistry and have spent >20 years as an analytical chemist because of him. I love my job.
@chotiari@Gaynotqueer1 It’s a shame you can’t write anything sensible or nuanced online without being attacked. I do think there’s something to what you are saying, the more I read about the connections between autism, connective tissue disorders and gender nonconformity the more the pieces add up.
I am delighted to say I graduated today! It was a wonderful day and I would like to thank those who supported me through some of the toughest years of my life! @DrKirstyP@NICHE_ULSTER#PhDone#WeAreUU
Celebrating the latest #NICHEphd success today with @RuthLoy6, who impressed the viva panel with the volume, depth & impact of her research... as well as her remarkable knowledge of all things #polyphenols & the Armagh Bramley 🍏🍎
Next stop 📕🎓🎉 #ProudOfUU#NICHEagri
Delighted to share my first publication from my PhD!
Thank you to all co authors for their input.
Such potential for heritage Irish apples as well as the culinary Bramley, but more on that to come….🍎🍏

@shanto12@Beachdogs67@Whiplash437 @DrScomaME_CFS I also have long Covid (non vaccinated) and I would recommend the pineapple and soy enzymes (nattokinase and bromelain). I saw a definite improvement in symptoms using these.
@Lucie_Frances1@realMaalouf Maybe this is more of a cultural thing than an Islam thing, a friend I work with is Muslim he’s been to my house and loves my dog, plans to bring his kids round to meet the dog etc he’s originally from Nigeria and had pet dogs when he lived there so 🤷♀️
I submitted my pre viva thesis today! Feels surreal.
The Armagh Bramley and beyond; exploring the bioactive content of apples available in Northern Ireland
@JacquieLyla@Harvey77865@Micha3lHinrichs @TaraBull808 I suppose it depends on who you think it helps. Honestly this is an article which articulates the issues many of the autistic community have with ABA way better than I could

@JacquieLyla@Harvey77865@Micha3lHinrichs @TaraBull808 I promise it doesn’t help an autistic child to be put through an overwhelming sensory experience. I am diagnosed autistic and at 46yrs old being in a loud crowded restaurant hurts just as much as when I was a kid.
We are recruiting healthy volunteers for an intervention study using a food supplement. A £200 honorarium will be available for participants who complete the study. If you are interested, please click on the link to complete the screening questionnaire: https://t.co/Gd08gxkCKl
Delighted and privileged to hear one of my all time heroes Temple Grandin give a talk on Insights into animal behaviour and autism as part of QUBs 100years of agriculture celebration
Well done to @RuthLoy6 presenting her PhD research which investigates ancient Irish apples as a source of (poly)phenols 🍎🍏 Great to have NICHE and @AFBI_NI represented at the @NutritionSoc SIG Phytochemicals and Health Symposium in London 👏🏼 #ProudofUU
