They’re not just taking away rights — they’re rewriting the rules so they can keep doing it.

Let’s be clear:
The UCP has now admitted that their legislation violates the Charter, the Alberta Human Rights Act, and the Alberta Bill of Rights.
All of it.

Their solution?
Not fixing the laws —
but rewriting the Human Rights Act so they can get away with targeting marginalized people.

As a parent of a transgender kid, I can’t even describe what it feels like to watch my own government dismantle protections that were supposed to keep children like mine safe.
They aren’t hiding it. They’re proud of it.

This isn’t “parental rights.”
This is state-sanctioned discrimination — backed by the Charter override — aimed directly at vulnerable kids.

If you’re not terrified yet, you’re not paying attention.

None of this has a democratic mandate.

A new government can undo every single one of these authoritarian moves — but we can’t do that without a vote.

Alberta deserves a say.
Alberta deserves accountability.
Alberta deserves democracy.
