I'm currently working on a paper on Autism training for law enforcement and are mindful that terminology differs. Is there any preferred terminology from a research perspective (e.g. "Autistic People" v. "People with Autism")? #autism#neurodivergent#autismeducation
I enjoyed reading Edgar Mendez's article on clean needle programs and the benefits they have. I chose it as the subject for my public crim class with @DrBryannaFox because its a great example of what public crim is, getting the data out to the public!
The USF PD sends its deepest condolences to the PCSO family and the family of Deputy Magli. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. @SheriffPinellas
@DrBryannaFox's graduate #PublicCriminology course worked on blogs about notable research in the field. @RuthRowan00 took it up to 11 and made a website about the Kansas City Gun Experiment (Sherman, et al., 1995). Check it out: https://t.co/C9a8gUHqyq
