@tomfriedman I met you once in the King David Hotel dining room & fan girled a bit. Doubt you would remember that :) I was moved by your column about Minneapolis/Neighboring & began a Neighboring group in my town. Thank you for the inspiration!
the grok explanation; "This is Friday Jummah prayer by men from the small Al Madina mosque (one block away) overflowing onto the public sidewalk outside Bnos Leah Prospect Park High School (all-girls Orthodox Jewish HS) in Brooklyn. School dismisses early on Fridays (~12:15–12:30 PM). Prayer time was shortly after (~12:50–1:30 PM range per reports). No students were present. It's been a regular overflow practice for years with prior coordination; they leave walkway space. Public prayer is legal, but the choice of spot right against the school wall has sparked legitimate questions about sensitivity amid heightened tensions. The clip was presented without the timing details."
@BarakRavid@DanielBShapiro huge fan(of both of u actually) but why amplify an account with...289 followers? this would have been a total nothing burger post. yes, i agree that the rhetoric, tone, anti-semitic tropes are all unacceptable but this guy is hardly getting mainstream traffic but now may....
been thinking about this a lot lately as several people n my world hv died at a youngish age. i completely get all of the items on ur list but where i m stuck is….so many of these items send a text to my phone. it is imperative that our loved ones secure that damn phone, silly as it sounds. simply call forwarding ones number will not forward the text messages. any thoughts on this? tx!
