@KirstieMAllsopp In the UK you can purchase a chicken pox vaccine privately if you choose too. Timings and schedules for vaccinations are different in many countries, likely based on population and prevalence. I believe in Australia you have to pay for the Men B vaccine, we give that routinely.

@loosewomen 2/2 joining up with other practices to share this. Using external sites to vaccinate at. There is so much involved with this. Legalities, policies, procedures. 5 surgeries in my area will be sharing weekly delivery of the Pfizer and some AZ vaccines for care homes.

@loosewomen the vaccine Pfizer vaccine is being administered mainly via GP surgeries in most areas outside of hospital settings. It is delivered in vials that make up 975 doses. For one practice to offer this on top of usual appointments is impossible. Therefore most areas are1/2

@ladynairn @KirstieMAllsopp Which care workers are tested weekly? 🤔 It was a thing then stopped after about a month a long time ago where I work. Most schools already have plans in place that are working. It's all about slowing the spread, not stopping the spread. That would be impossible.
