I'm very excited to be joining @OxfordCrim as an academic visitor next term for my research leave from @DurhamSociology
Unfortunately, my accommodation has fallen through, so recommendations are welcome!! Also, I'm looking for a friendly gym while I'm there... 🤣
Help!
A brilliant session from @RutterNik@CRiVADurham at the @AddressingDA National Learning & Networking event yesterday. Nikki’s knowledge, passion and drive to create change made for an unmissable session. #ADA2024
Big thanks to the wonderful @kelda_kelly for the opportunity to present at the @AddressingDA event today
Myself, @CommissionerDA & Assistant Chief Constable Sam Millar look less than impressed on our panel, but we're just super passionate about ending VAWG!
@CRiVADurham
Lovely to be included in Kelly's #CommunityOverCommercialisation blog!
Always blown away by the tenacity of parents seeking to support their children.
It's a massive privilege to be able to work and collaborate with so many of them ❤️

Revealing and upsetting scenes in this film.
These four mums are caring for their sons who have complex needs that result in distressing and harmful behaviour.

@durham_uni@EducByDesign Nice to share my own work on humanising approaches to teaching on the @DurhamSociology community placement module 😃😃 seeing students as whole human beings with their own rich lived experience
Really excited to be at the @durham_uni Learning & Teaching Conference today
A full day event, focused on assessments and assessing students. We are welcomed to the event by @samjnolan@EducByDesign
@durham_uni@EducByDesign We now have Dawn Whitton and Jenny Mah from @DUBusSchool, who worked with decolonising interns to look at how inclusive their assessments were, from a decolonising perspective! The high number of international students created some interesting findings!!
