Today, I have emailed the Cyber Cell, South District, seeking an immediate inquiry and appropriate lawful action in relation to Dhruv Rathee, who is reportedly in Delhi and has reportedly been detained at the Jantar Mantar protest.

He is an accused in my pending complaint (CT No. 880/2026) concerning alleged cognizable offences under Sections 196 and 299 of the BNS. The GAC and the Delhi High Court have already observed that his video hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus.

The Action Taken Report is still awaited before the Ld. Magistrate. I urge Delhi Police to urgently examine the matter, take appropriate action in accordance with law.

If no timely action is taken, I will be constrained to approach the Hon’ble Delhi High Court once again for appropriate directions.
