Commemorating Three Years Anniversary of Rohingya Prominent Leader, Mr Mohibullah
Today marks three years since the heartbreaking loss of Mr. Muhib Ullah, the founder of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights (ARSPH), a dedicated and tireless leader within the Rohingya community. His commitment and courage in advocating for the rights and freedoms of his people profoundly impacted those he supported. Muhib Ullah was not just a voice for the marginalized; he symbolized hope for a brighter future for the Rohingya. His efforts to draw global attention to their struggles and fight for justice and human rights have left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire many.
As we commemorate his memory today, we pay tribute to his unwavering dedication to his community and reflect on the ongoing fight for freedom and dignity that he passionately championed. His dream of a peaceful, liberated, and equitable future for the Rohingya lives on in the hearts of many, and his sacrifices will always be remembered.
Mohibullah was known for his moderate stance, advocating for the Rohingya's return to Myanmar with rights equal to those of other citizens—rights that have been denied to us for decades. He led the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights (ARSPH), which he founded in 2017 to document the atrocities committed against the Rohingya in our homeland. He gave us a voice in international discussions about our future.
Though our prominent leader has left this world, his ambitions live on. We need to strive to fulfill his aspirations for our innocent community.
While his existence may have been extinguished by extremists, they can never erase the dream he envisioned before his passing. We must work to realize that dream for our Rohingya community.
"If I die, it's okay. I will give my life for my community." We must hold these words close to our hearts and share them with the entire community.
