@SchusslerISB Agreed! It's been a steep learning curve for me with accepting failure as an opportunity to learn. I'm quick to encourage mistakes in my students, but need to be better about modelling it for my students with my own mistakes. #isblbd#growthmindset
@IntSchBrussels A3 Listen to the audience we're targeting: the students! What do they need? My question is, what is effective and sustainable: small changes imbedded in the current system, or large, disruptive changes to the system itself? How do we change a system? #isblbd
Yes! What are we missing out on when we're trying to do too much? Quality vs. quantity- at which point do we miss the boat on learning and reflection from the sheer quantity of curriculum, activities, opportunities? #isblbd
@dtylke1 Yes, how do we build in support systems to authentically target our students' mental health...and our own? Awareness and talk is the first step...resources is the next.
@crowley_mike@drdavidgleason Agreed! This is a great reminder, especially working with the youngest of our learners. Growth and development doesn't look the same for different people, we need to honour that and support students along their own personal growth trajectory.

Students need opportunities to discover and pursue what excites, engages, and challenges them and the world around them. They need role models (adults, peers) who can inspire in them a drive and passion for something, anything that moves them. #isblbd
